For buyers, assessors and advisers · Planned
Ask for proof. Get a pack, not a pile.
You ask farms for the same documents again and again. With Porthmon, the farmer answers your request from records they already keep, each item labelled by how strong it is, shared with you for a set time.
Planned: nothing is shared today
What you could ask for
- Assurance certificate and its expiry date (FAWL, Red Tractor)
- Holding details
- Animal health plan or a vet's visit
- Medicine records
- Body condition and mobility scoring
- Soil tests
- Spray records
- Training and courses
What you would receive
A Proof Pack: the farm, the records you asked for, each with its date, place and label, any photo or document attached, the farmer's consent and the date your access ends. Example records from the fictional sample farm:
How proof is labelled
Self-declared the farmer's own record · Evidence attached backed by a photo or document · Checked by a named person on a date
What it is not
- Not an assurance scheme, and not a check of scheme compliance.
- Not a marketplace.
- Not a way round the farmer: the farmer decides what you see, for how long, and can withdraw it.
Porthmon is designed to work alongside RPW Online, EIDCymru, assurance schemes and industry data exchanges, not to replace them.
Try it in November 2026
We are looking for 2 to 5 buyers or advisers in North Wales and Cheshire to send a real request to farms they already work with.
